Teen found dead in Hamilton, but police say not suspicious

A 17-year-old male has been found dead near a walkway in Hamilton (file photo).

A teenage boy has been found dead in Hamilton  on Sunday afternoon.

Hamilton police said the 17 year old was found near a walkway in the suburb of Hillcrest around 3.30pm.

His death is not believed to be suspicious, police said. They believe it's the teenage boy reported missing by his family on Friday.

His death will be referred to the coroner.
