Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath applauded all the students who passed the UP Board examinations 2018 of class 12th and class 10th and announced that the top 10 students with highest percentages will be honoured by the UP government.
The CM hailed the board authorities for conducting peaceful and smooth examinations in a record time of one moth and said that the high scores of students despite cheating-free exams proves that the state is full of talented and hard working students.
Yogi said, “I am assure that our bright students will bring fame to the state wherever they go.”
It is to be mentioned that Uttar Pradesh Board declared the UP Board Class XII result 2018 and UP Board high school result 2018 on Sunday at 12:30 pm.
Passing percentage for high school was 75.47 per cent, it remained 72.49 per cent for the intermediate. As many as 1849 students have got above 90 per cent marks in the UP Board exams 2018.
High School Toppers:
Anjali Verma from Allahabad has been announced as the UP Board Class X topper with 96.13 per cent marks, followed by Yashaswi from Fatehpur, who scored 94.50 per cent marks.
Intermediate Toppers:
Rajneesh Shukla and Akash Maurya remained the UP Board Class XII toppers scoring 93.20 per cent marks each. They were followed by Ananya Rai and Abhishek Kumar.
