DGP, OP Singh on Saturday stressed the need for following certain code of conduct and rules to ensure cyber security. 

Inaugurating a workshop on `Cyber Training Facility’ organised by Anti-Terrorists Squad in Lucknow on Saturday, Singh said that to avert cyber threat of online frauds, theft of data or any other kind of crime, one should follow certain code of conduct and protocols and also ensure auditing of applications at regular intervals. He said that the people should concentrate on `Risk Awareness’ for safety. 

The DGP also announced that soon, the state would have two cyber police stations in Lucknow and Nodia which will be equipped with all kind of gadgets and man power to meet cyber crime challenges. 

As per a DGP office communique, cyber experts also made presentations on how to avert mistakes while using social media, how to check leakage of data and in case data was leaked what legal action be adopted and how data theft have been used in other countries.
