Priyanka Chopra is on a trip to Assam and her pictures are making us want to pack our bags as well. The actor, who is a tourism ambassador for the state, was in Jorhat on Saturday and enjoyed a day with young school girls and a beautiful night by the pool and Assamese singing.

Priyanka visited the Subarna Prabha Bordoloi Girls High School and danced a bit of Bihu with the girls. “The part I enjoy the most... joining in the fun! These young ladies put on an amazing performance for me and it was great to see their confidence and excitement towards life. This is in large part because they are in a school environment that keeps them safe. They are in charge of building their own futures...their own lives. Keeping a girl in school has so many positives, especially seeing them happy and thriving. A great start to my trip to #AwesomeAssam,” she captioned a video of her dancing.

Priyanka recently launched the third season of her American spy thriller series, Quantico. As part of the show’s promotions, she appeared on several talk shows like Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon and Good Morning America. However, the ratings for Quantico were the lowest in its slot. The show was watched by 2.8 million total viewers, down from season 1 premiere’s 7.14 million and season 2’s 3.64 million.

Priyanka will soon begin work opposite Salman Khan in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat. “[Bharat] is the Indian movie I signed this year. It’s the quintessential Bollywood movie, which I haven’t done in many years. A lot of them were dramatic and thematic. This one’s going to be out and out entertainment. I’m excited! I haven’t been back to do a movie in two or three years now,” she told Esquire magazine in an interview.
