WATCH: Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo COLLIDE as Red Bull crash out in Azerbaijan
THIS is the moment Daniel Ricciardo crashed into Red Bull team-mate Max Verstappen during the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
After a chaotic start to the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, which saw Fernando Alonso, Brendan Hartley, Sergio Perez, Kevin Magnussen, Marcus Ericsson all suffer damage while Sergey Sirotkin and Esteban Ocon crashed out, Red Bull duo Ricciardo and Verstsappen were both battling to be on the podium.
However, disaster struck for Red Bull on Lap 40.
After pitting for some new Ultrasofts, Verstappen came out ahead of his team-mate despite pitting after Ricciardo.
The Australian – who is out of contract at Red Bull in the summer – was urged to push by his race engineer.

Verstappen had the inside line down the main straight but staggeringly, Ricciardo ploughed into the back of him taking both Red Bulls out of the racing and prompting another appearance from the safety car.
Former F1 driver Jolyon Palmer laid blame on Ricciardo for the crash.
“I think Ricciardo got this one wrong,” he said on the BBC.
“He was caught in two minds, he is normally so decisive in his overtakes.
“He just smacked his team-mate out of the race.”
The incident between the Red Bulls will be investigated by officials after the race.
