‘SME sector can make its mark on world trade'

Keeping India’s keenness on promoting the small and medium enterprises (SME) sector all over the country and abroad, Falguni Parekh, Solicitor and Managing Partner at Smartmove2UK said that SME industry can surely make its mark on world trade.

"Indian SME sector has a huge potential and they are having urge of expanding the business worldwide but due to lack of knowledge of immigration laws and without proper guidance they can't set up a business in abroad. However, with the help of an expert, the SME sector can surely make their mark on world trade" said Parekh.

As of today, Smartmove2UK, a UK immigration law firm, has ten lawyers specialising in four cities providing advice and assisting to individual and corporate clients on UK visa related matters. The firm has helped several businesses and entrepreneurs and thousands of students from India to set up businesses in UK.

Parekh has an extensive experience in UK immigration practice. Being a Law graduate from Mumbai University with working experience in leading immigration law firms in the UK and in India as well, she came across many cases where UK visa applications were refused for trivial reasons.  She decided to help UK visa aspirants in this complicated process through 'Smartmove2UK' which was established in 2012.

Smartmove2UK also set many examples of success stories. For instance, 28-year-old Maneet Pal Singh, co-founder of one of the largest frozen food and seafood chain in India, always wanted to expand his business in Europe. He realised UK is a best place to set up a business to enter European market. Maneet started his business in India since 2012 but was little afraid to set up a subsidiary in UK, as he was clueless about immigration rules, business plan formation, visa restrictions and requirements.

After few months, Maneet came to know about 'Smartmove2UK' and within a month, he got his business visa easily to start his subsidiary in UK. Besides Maneet, one of the growing tech firms in India also received a request for meeting from client in UK, which they required their technical team to visit the UK to understand client's requirements and explain the solutions and services that can be offered. The firm then approached to Smartmove2UK and got the entire team's visa before their expectations.
