Taking a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s trip to China as a “no agenda” visit, Congress president Rahul Gandhi asked him on Friday to take up the issue of the Doklam standoff and the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) that runs through the Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), which he described as Indian territory.
Mr. Gandhi assured the Congress’s support to the Prime Minister, through his tweet in a snarky way.
“Dear PM, Saw the live TV feed of your ‘No Agenda’ China visit. You look tense! A quick reminder: 1. DOKLAM 2. China Pakistan Economic Corridor passes through POK. That’s Indian territory. India wants to hear you talk about these crucial issues. You have our support,” tweeted Mr. Gandhi.
