Akhila, Subba Reddy told to sink differences

Will not tolerate indiscipline, Naidu tells them

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu advised Tourism Minister Bhuma Akhila Priya and TDP leader A.V. Subba Reddy in separate meetings at his residence on Friday to sink their differences and strengthen the party in the Kurnool district.

During his one-on-one interactions with the Minister and Mr. Subba Reddy, Mr. Naidu has reportedly sent out a terse message that he would not tolerate indiscipline while counselling them to work for the common cause of taking the party closer to people by setting aside differences.

It may be noted that tempers have frayed between the two groups after the recent stone-throwing on Mr. Subba Reddy during a bicycle rally. Mr. Reddy held Ms. Akhila Priya responsible for the incident and a war of words has begun and it eventually incurred the wrath of the Chief Minister.

Speaking to the media, Ms. Priya said the CM told her that the mention of Allagadda should bring development to one’s mind but not the kind of skirmishes that took place a few days ago.

Mr. Naidu brought Sobha Nagi Reddy and Bhuma Nagi Reddy’s services to the party to the Minister’s notice.

He said that only when Ms. Priya and Mr. Subba Reddy, who was a follower of her father, work together would development be possible and the people would repose their confidence in the party as an entity that is truly committed to their welfare.
