Dhading, April 27

The District Police Office,Dhading, today made public fugitives charged with robbery and murder.

As per Superintendent of Police Dhruba Raj Raut, security personnel made public Surya Bahadur Tamang, 36, of Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality-2, who had been on the run for the past 11 years after a robbery case was filed against him.

Dhading District Court had sentenced him to six-years in prison, along with fine of Rs 110,625, in January 2015. He has been sent to jail.

Similarly, the security personnel made public Yam Bahadur Arghule Magar, who was accused of murdering Yam Bahadur BK of Jwalamukhi Rural Municipality-5, using a sharp weapon 14 years ago. He had been absconding after the incident.  The district court remanded Magar to custody.

Meanwhile, three persons who were held in possession of drugs at Jogimara along the Prithvi Highway in Dhading were also made public. They have been identified as Bibek Pokhrel, 18, of Biratnagar, Sudip Gurung, 16, of Bandipur, Tanahun and Krishna Gautam, 22, of Kathmandu.
