National basketball tourney in Chittoor

The 32nd Federation Cup of National Basketball Championship tourney for Men and Women 2018 will be held at the District Sports Authority stadium here from May 1 to May 6.

Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, District Collector P.S. Pradyumna and AP Basketball Association president T. Chengalraya Naidu said that as many as 18 teams of men and women, from all over India would be taking part in the national event, covering league and knockout matches.

Happy moment

They said that all arrangements of boarding, lodging and transport had been made for the basketball teams, referees, coaches and officials of various States. “It is a happy moment that the national event is being organized in Chittoor city,” Mr Chengalraya Naidu said.
