• Clippers: Shortstop Yu Chang was 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and two RBI in Columbus’ 8-0 win over host Indianapolis in Triple-A. DH Eric Haase added two hits and two runs for the Clippers (9-11), and Gio Urshela drove in two runs. Adam Plutko (3-2) went 7 2/3 innings, striking out six.

• RubberDucks: Center fielder Ka’ai Tom had a triple, a three-run home run and five RBI as host Double-A Akron (11-10) pounded Bowie, 11-3. The RubberDucks had 12 hits and were 8-for-16 with runners in scoring position. Left fielder Tyler Krieger, third baseman Joe Sever and Bobby Bradley each had two hits. Shane Bieber went five innings and gave up three runs (one earned) with two strikeouts and one walk. His ERA is 1.16.

• Hillcats: Visiting Potomac got to Single-A Lynchburg starter Jake Paulson for seven runs on the way to an 8-3 victory over the Hillcats (12-10). Left fielder Mitch Longo (Mayfield) doubled, tripled and scored a run for Lynchburg. He’s batting .288.

• Captains: Host Bowling Green topped Single-A Lake County (11-9), 4-2. The Hot Rods scored three times in the first two innings off Captains starter Juan Hillman (0-3). Ernie Clement had two of the Captains’ six hits.
