Parliament has the role to play

Parliament has the role to play to ensure that the provincial council elections are held, says election commission chairman Mahinda Deshapriya.

He made the remark during a seminar in Colombo yesterday.

He also said the shortcomings evident at the recent LG polls would be rectified.
