Two people found seriously injured in Hervey Bay home, crime scene declared

A crime scene has been declared at a Hervey Bay home, after two people were found with serious injuries on Friday morning.

7 News reported an elderly couple had suffered stab wounds, but a Queensland Police Service spokeswoman was unable to confirm.

Police were called to the Wondunna residence about 9.15am.

Paramedics took two patients to Hervey Bay Hospital. One was in a serious condition, the other was in a serious but stable condition.

Police said investigators were on scene.
