Robert T. Erwin, 86, of Moon Twp., died Saturday, April 21, 2018, in Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver. Born February 7, 1932, in Terre Haute, Ind., a son of the late Tiffin and Ruth (Lake) Erwin, he was a graduate of Indiana State University with a degree in Biology. He was a retired professor from Robert Morris University, where he was in charge of the intramural program. He was a founder, individual and director of Sports Management at Robert Morris University, and coached baseball, men's soccer and women's volleyball. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Surviving are two sons, Guy Erwin, Cranberry Twp., and Troy Erwin and his wife, Kathy, Harmony Twp.; two daughters, Lisa Erwin and her husband Alfred Werner, Duluth, Minn., and Amy Massaglia and her husband Mark, West Hartford, Conn.; 10 grandchildren, Paige Erwin, Edward Erwin, Natalie Erwin, Katie Detwiler and her husband Jonathan, Melissa Zucca and her husband James, Benjamin Hardy and wife Autumn, Peter Hardy and wife Melanie, David Hardy, Troy Hirsch and Max Massaglia, and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Erwin. A memorial viewing was held Thursday, April 26, 2018, at the BOHN-MATICH FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1099 Maplewood Ave., Ambridge. Memorial contributions may be made to the Robert T.
