God of War update 1.16 patch notes REVEALED: Fans still waiting for photo mode
GOD OF War gets updated to version 1.16, as the hit PlayStation title receives even more improvements.
SONY
God of War has been given yet another update on PlayStation 4.
God of War updates continue to come thick and fast, as Sony releases version 1.16 just a week after the launching the game on PS4.
Unfortunately, however, there's still no sign of the highly-anticipated photo mode.
Instead, God of War update 1.16 makes various bug fixes and improvements.
Sony has also added stability and performance enhancements, which should make for a smoother experience.
This follows a recent update in which Sony increased the size of the in-game text.
"Hey there. We just released a new patch that focuses on text for map, goals, codex and the resources tab of the UI menus," reads a Sony tweet. "Will be continuing to investigate more improvements."
After releasing countless minor patches over the course of the week, fans will be hoping that the next update contains the photo mode.
The lack of photo mode doesn't appear to have impacted sales.
In fact, the new God of War has soared to the top of the chart during its first week on sale.
The new God of War recently replaced Far Cry 5 at the top of the UK all-format gaming charts.
It's the second biggest launch of the year so far, and the best-selling game in the series based on week one sales.
It's even more impressive when you take into account that UK chart data doesn't include digital download sales.
