A complaint has been registered against Pawan Kalyan in Hyderabad.

A local news channel, ABN Andhra Jyothi, has filed a complaint against actor-politician Pawan Kalyan for targeting the media house with ‘forged’ evidence. Kalyan has been targeting a few Telugu news channels for telecasting actor Sri Reddy’s video in which she uses an abuse about his mother.

The channel claimed that while they used a muted video clip, Kalyan has been using a forged video where the abuse can be heard. The complaint has been filed at Central Crime Station (CCS) in Hyderabad.

The complainant, ABN Andhra Jyothi’s HR manger B Mahender, told Deccan Chronicle “He had posted a ‘forged’ video clip of actress Sri Reddy abusing him from his Twitter handle. The channel had muted the video and telecast it.”

The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Avinash Mohanty, also addressed the media and said that the channel had aired a censored version and that it was Kalyan himself who posted the unedited video.

However, the actor claimed the media houses were colluding with the ruling party, TDP, and Ram Gopal Varma. He also wrote, “I am contemplating to request TS police for an investigation into the 6 month slander campaign. I am for sure all the names of these characters both men & women who came out to malign me will be eventually lead to Amaravati. Lot of interesting names from reputed families, politicians, media barons, their kids..will come out. The ugly Nakedness of our society will come out.if you all could encourage to strip a ‘ sister’ & made a show then this will be mother of all shows.”
