FIFA 18 TOTS - UPDATE ONE: FIFA 18 fans gearing up for the Team of the Season reveal have been given a big update.

The official FIFA 18 Twitter account has today by announced the Community TOTS.

This is a FIFA 18 TOTS as voted by the fans. Announcing the line-up, the FIFA 18 Twitter account posted: “The votes have been counted.

“This is the Community #TOTS as voted by you! #FUT”.

ORIGINAL: FIFA 18 fans are counting down to the first TOTS reveal by EA Sports.

And the FIFA 18 developer has confirmed that Team of the Season celebrations kick off later today.

FIFA 18 reveals typically take place at either 2pm or 3pm UK time, before upgraded cards and bonuses are released at 5/6pm.

The first TOTS will be voted for by members of the FIFA 18 community, specifically by fans of Futhead of Futwiz.

The first Team of the Season squad is based on a shortlist of the most consistent players over the course of the season.

But while these players performed strongly, they didn't receive any in-forms.

EA Sports explains more: "Community #TOTS is based on a shortlist of 100 players who performed consistently well throughout the season but did not receive a performance based in-form as of April 15.

"The 23 winners will be revealed when the team is announced on April 27th."

The shortlist included players like Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, who scored plenty of goals without standing out from his peers.

As Goal.com points out, the community vote makes it more likely that players from the bigger teams will get the nod.

This includes Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets, as well as teammate Gerard Pique.

Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini could also make the cut, alongside Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

The Community TOTS will be followed by squads for specific leagues.

The Premier League Team of the Season shouldn't be too far behind, followed by La Liga, Ligue 1 and Bundesliga.

Three players almost certain to appear in the Premier League TOTS include Harry Kane, Mohamed Salah and Kevin De Bruyne.

Expect to see David De Gea in goal, Kyle Walker in defence and Raheem Sterling in midfield.
