Acting tough during his Kushinagar visit, Chief Minister ordered the suspension of four officers and asked the district administration to lodge an FIR against management of Divine Public School which has been operating sans license and permission.

The directives were issued after Yogi visited the accident site in Kushinagar where 13 children of Divine Public School were killed and five injured when a train train rammed into a school van.

As Yogi met the aggrieved parents, he learnt that the school was operating without permission or licence from the administration. In fact, Transfer Certificate for students of Divine Public School were arranged by Seth Banshi Dhar School.

The CM asked officials to lodge an FIR against the management of Divine Public School and also ordered an enquiry against Banshi Dhar School.

The CM also ordered the suspension of Basic Shiksha Adhikari, Kushinagar, Hemant Rao and Duddhi Block Education officer Shesh Bahadur for dereliction of duty and not checking credentials of schools operating there.

“ARTO (Enforcement) Raj Kishore Trivedi  and Passenger Tax Officer Ranvir Singh Chauhan were also suspended for laxity in inspection,” a statement issued by CM’s office said on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Yogi visited the accident site where he was meted out a hostile reception by angry villagers, who wanted action against the Railway officials.

As  the raised slogans like “Yogi Vapis Jao” and persisted with the slogans, the CM took a mega phone and asked the people not to do ‘nautanki’.

“ Main yaha santawana dene aaya hun,” (I have come here to express sympathy with aggrieved people), the CM said further.
