The Gandhi scion is on a two-day visit to poll-bound Karnataka to campaign for the party candidates.

Congress president Rahul Gandhi, who is on his seventh leg of campaigning in Karnataka, will on Friday release the party's manifesto for the Assembly polls scheduled to be held across the state on May 12. 

The Gandhi scion is on a two-day visit to poll-bound Karnataka to campaign for the party candidates in the districts of Uttara Kannada, Dahskina Kannada, Kodagu and Mysuru.

#In a statement, the Congress party said that Gandhi would visit parts of Uttara Kannada like Ankola city, Mastikatte Circle (Kumta), Saraswati Circle (Honnavar) and hold a corner meeting at Bhatkal.

#The Congress president arrived at Hubballi airport at around 11.25 am on Thursday on a two-day visit to the poll-bound state to launch the party's campaign for the May 12 legislative Assembly elections in the coastal region.

# A plane carrying Congress president Rahul Gandhi developed a technical snag with the party demanding a probe into the "suspicious and faulty performance" of the aircraft before landing at the Hubballi airport in north Karnataka. 

#So far, the Congress chief has held six rounds of campaigning in the poll-bound state.
