Thursday, May 3, has been sanctioned by the U.S. Government as National Day of Prayer. Celebrating its 67th year, this year’s theme is Pray for America: unity, calling on people, corporately and individually, to return to the God of Fathers in reverence for His Holy Name. To further highlight our theme, Ephesians 4:3 has been chosen as our Scripture for this year: “Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”

The Judeo-Christian based task force is calling for people to gather for personal and national repentance and heart-felt prayer targeting seven critical areas: our government, military, media, education, church, business, and family.

The following local locations and times are set to celebrate the National Day of Prayer. For additional locations and information, please see www.nationaldayofprayer.org. If you can not attend one of these gatherings, we encourage you to take time to pray alone or with family members at home, or with other like-minded people during breaks at your work place. At such a time as this, and as believers, let's join together this May 3, to pray for our nation.
