A concert in aid of the Karl Vella Foundation is being held this evening at St Aloysius College Sixth Form.
The foundation provides education and psychological support to children having a parent or a sibling dealing with a serious illness.
Sara Keune is a high school student at the Verdala International School.
As part of her ‘Community Service/Raising Awareness’ project, she has chosen to highlight the foundation’s dedication in supporting children of families dealing with either an illness or loss.
The concert will feature soprano Andriana Yordanova and pianist Julia Miller, with the participation of sopranos Kimberly Marie Grech and Mariette Borg, mezzo soprano Miriam Camilleri and Amy Vella on piano.
The one-hour concert is being held today at 7.30pm at St Aloysius College Sixth Form in Birkirkara. For tickets, contact Elizabeth Camilleri on 9945 7374 or Mouna Keune on 9964 8000. Admission is against a donation of €10.
