Holly Willoughby Instagram: Star SLAMMED online as she dons 'bad girl' top for night out

Holly Willoughby was all smiles as she went backstage for her friend Mike Skinner’s gig in Brixton, London last night.

Documenting her night out, the 37-year-old treated her 3.5 million Instagram followers to a series of captures.

Attending The Streets' comeback gig, the This Morning presenter paused to take a selfie with her friend Nicole Appleton as they spent time behind-the-scenes.

Grinning at the camera for the photo, Holly and her pal were pictured standing beside the stage.

Alongside the snap, she penned: “I mean.. all my favs in one pic... @mikeskinnerltd.”

Another shot showed the star donning a white T-Shirt emblazoned with orange writing - which read: “Good girls go to heaven. Bad girls go backstage.”

Clearly enjoying letting her hair down for a well-deserved night off, the star beamed as she posed with her pals.

However, the ITV favourite soon fell victim to an amass of cruel comments from online trolls.

It came after some social media followers found fault with the star for not being at home with her children.

The mother-of-three shares Harry, eight, Belle, seven, and Chester, three with her husband Dan Baldwin - who she wed back in 2007.

Hitting out at the star for her rare night out, one wrote: “Where’s her kids? All the hours she works you would think she would like to spend time with them and her hubby.”(sic)

Meanwhile, another asked: “Why is Holly always away from her children?”

A third trolled: “Works hard certainly plays hard. Missing out on time with her kids that's sad they must miss her, no replacement for mom…”(sic)

However, many of Holly’s loyal fans leapt to support the star, as they expressed their outrage at the critical comments.

One wrote: “Sad state of affairs when we criticise a mother for heading out for the night!!!! Shame on the lot of you!!

"We, as women, should build each other and support each other. All I see is sad individuals having a pop at a successful woman.”

Another penned: “All you people. mainly other women. having a go at @hollywilloughby for having a night out need to get a grip! I don't know if you are aware but there is a whole another world out there away from children it's called a social life! I'm sure her husband can cope looking after HIS children."

“Some of us have a life away from our children,” a third commented.

Revealing her outfit for last night’s episode of the ITV2 panel game Celebrity Juice, the TV star could be seen donning a black mini-skirt, top and white heeled ankle boots.
