A person has been found dead at the Rutherford Hotel in Nelson.

Police are investigating a suspicious death at the Rutherford Hotel in Nelson on Friday morning.
Police said they were called to the hotel shortly before 9.00am, where a woman was found dead.
She is believed to have been visiting New Zealand from overseas.
A person has been found dead at the Rutherford Hotel in Nelson.
Police are making inquiries to determine what happened.
Nelson Bays area commander Mat Arnold-Kelly said police were speaking to someone and were not seeking anyone else in relation to the woman's death.
He would not comment on the nature of the relationship between the deceased and the person they were speaking with.
He also would not confirm if the person being spoken to about the incident had been treated for injuries at Nelson Hospital, saying he could not comment on aspects of the investigation.
