Mahindra Farm Equipment Sector, has launched the two new Novo range of tractor in the 65hp and 75hp variant. The 65hp 2WD (655 DI) retails at Rs 999,000 and the 75hp 4WD (755 DI) retails at Rs 12.5 lakh (both ex-showroom Maharashtra).
Mahindra & Mahindra's Novo range have been designed and developed in-house at the Mahindra Research Valley,its global research and development facility in Chennai. The company states the Novo range has been developed through extensive research and insights from farmer feedback across 12 states. It says that during the seeding phase, the tractors were tested for performance in 37 applications across 8 states for a cumulative 25,000 hours.

The new range is aimed at higher productivity and precision, and claims the highest engine torque with best-in-class fuel efficiency. It is equipped with Mahindra’s Digisense technology for remote tracking of the tractor’s health and location. It also features a full flat platform with suspension seats and ergonomic controls.
Mahindra says it will provide three-year engine warranty with 400 hours of service interval. It also comes with factory fitted roll over protection structure (ROPS) for driver safety and high gloss metallic colour with three-dimensional chrome decals.
Additionally, Mahindra has announced its plans to launch the 75hp 4WD AC cabin in India shortly, which it already sells in the US market.
