Kate gave birth to Louis at the private Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital, the same place where she had her other two children, on Monday. Her husband, Prince William, was by her side.
Louis is brother to four-year-old Prince George and Princess Charlotte, who is almost three.
The arrival of Louis knocks Prince Harry down a notch in the succession to the throne. The new prince is fifth in line to the throne after his grandfather Prince Charles, his father and older siblings.
Next month, Prince Harry will marry American actress Meghan Markle.
