GURUGRAM: The department of town and country planning (DTCP) on April 20 issued a notice to the owners of illegal houses that were built at Bhora Kalan village in Pataudi.
The illegal colony has been built on 50 acres of agricultural land surrounding Binola industrial area. The land owners did not seek official permission or obtained a licence before planning and developing the colony. Around 40 independent houses have been constructed, while 10 more plots have been marked and sold off.

Following this, a show cause notice was issued to the owners asking them on whose permission they had constructed the colony. “It is illegal to plan a colony without prior permission and a licence. Any unauthorised colony will be demolished,” said Rajendra Sharma, DTP (enforcement).
