Centre of Excellence likely to be set up in Haryana with assistance of Netherlands govt

A Centre of Excellence is likely to be set up in Haryana with assistance of the Netherlands Government.

This was disclosed by Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister O.P. Dhankar in a meeting held at Hague, Netherlands. The meeting was chaired by Indian Ambassador to Netherlands, Mr Venu Rajamony. The meeting was attended by officers of Embassy and well known Haryanavi and Dutch industrialists.

In order to encourage foreign investment in Haryana, the Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Mr O.P. Dhankar invited the Haryanavi industrialists settled in Netherlands, to set up their ventures in Haryana and to strengthen their connection with their roots. Moreover, there is huge potential for industry in Haryana.

The Minister personally interacted with Non Residents of India (NRIs). He said, “Many NRIs of various districts of Haryana which included Pehowa, Gurugram, Manesar, Sonepat and Saha, who are settled in Netherlands are doing exceptional work.” A resident of Holland, Mr Huib Smit, owner of Allround Vegetable Processing has already set up his plant in Ambala, shared his experiences of his Company in Haryana. Others who also shared their experiences of their companies in Haryana, included Director of LT Food Limited, Mr Aditya Arora has popular brand Daawat and Harry Behl of Finish Profiles Group, which already set up its plant Prefab Structure in Manesar and Director of CRV Company has shown keen interest in animal breeding in Haryana.

On the occasion, delegates from Haryana also visited the Tulip Farms in Netherlands and sought extensive information about its farming.
