A Harrison man will be sentenced in the future for his involvement in crashing a vehicle into a home last year.
David Wesley Wright, 38, was found guilty after a jury returned a verdict on Wednesday in the Clare County Circuit Court on the charge of operating a vehicle while visibly impaired third offense, according to a news release Thursday from the county prosecutor’s office.
He was referred to the Michigan Department of Corrections for a pre-sentence investigation and will be sentenced at a later date.
Wright was arrested on Nov. 20, 2017 after a Clare County Sheriff’s Office deputy had been dispatched to a home on Oak Flats Road in Harrison that Wright had crashed a vehicle he was driving into.
After conducting an investigation, Wright was arrested. At the time of his arrest, he had a blood alcohol content of .23, which is three times the legal limit.
