Man in court accused of Sunnybank Hills home raid

A man accused of forcing his way into a Brisbane home and stealing a car at gunpoint will remain behind bars.

David Darijono allegedly threatened a woman at her Sunnybank Hills home and demanded car keys on Wednesday evening.

The 29-year-old then fled in the stolen vehicle but was caught 20 minutes later after being spotted by an off-duty police officer.

During a search of the car a loaded sawn-off shotgun and an axe were found, police allege.

Darijono was charged with six offences, including armed robbery, and was remanded in custody after appearing at Richlands Magistrates Court on Thursday.

He's scheduled to return to the court on June 14.
