Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Cautious optimism” (April 25). The key question remains: Should India trust China time and again? The Middle Kingdom, under Xi Jinping’s one-man rule, dreams to become an emerging superpower. On the other hand, in India, there are many factions who want to tear the nation apart. China and India could have accomplished more if trust was there. Fruitful actions could have been completed only then.
