Twitteratis today slammed Biplab Kumar over his remarks questioning the rationale behind crowning "Miss World" 21 years ago even as he praised Rai for the same award, saying she "truly represents the Indian women".

Activist termed his comments as "stupid, sexist and communal".

"If biplab didn't exist, a would have invented him," tweeted.

Deb's comments came days after cautioned the BJP leaders to steer clear of controversies and not offer "masala" to the media by making irresponsible statements.
