Hamburg is once again directly connected with New York. United Airlines today resumed its seasonal intercontinental service from Hamburg Airport to New York – Newark. The airline operates the route with a daily service using a Boeing 757-200. The long-haul route from Hamburg to New York – Newark has been operated by the US carrier, United Airlines, since 10 June, 2005. Since the launch of the route between Hamburg and New York – Newark, 1.1 million passengers have travelled on a total of 7,687 flights.

I am therefore delighted that United is resuming its dedicated involvement at Hamburg Airport as of today, flying our passengers quickly and comfortably to the USA without any stopover on the way.”

New York is an exceedingly popular destination. The city attracts millions of tourists for sightseeing and shopping every year. But a direct connection to the largest city in the USA is an attractive way for business travellers to save time. One particular benefit of the long-haul route from Hamburg to New York is the idea flight times. United departs Hamburg daily at 9:00 a.m., landing in New York – Newark at11:40 a.m. (local time). The daily return flight departs New York – Newark late in the afternoon, at 5:35 p.m. local time, so that passengers land in Hamburg at 7:15 a.m. These attractive times allow both private and business travellers to make the most of their time in New York.

Manhattan is just 23 kilometers from Newark Liberty International Airport and reachable by train in around 25 minutes.

The United Airlines Boeing 757-200 is fitted with 108 Economy seats, 45 Economy Plus seats and 16 Polaris Business Class seats.
