Town officials hope to gather as much community input as possible for the complete streets program, which will be discussed at a public workshop at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

The workshop will be at the Pettibone Community Center’s cafeteria and is hosted by the town, with support from AECOM, New Milford’s Complete Streets consultant. There will also be interactive activities.

Complete Streets are designed to enable safe access for all users, including pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists and transit riders of all ages and abilities. Plans are adjusted based on the community so the town is encouraging residents to offer as much input as possible.

Residents can fill out an online survey. The survey takes about three minutes to complete

AECOM is helping the town develop a Complete Streets Master Plan, which is a document, developed with input from its residents, that identifies community goals and assists town administrators when applying for funding such as grants.
