Noted Russian illusionist to perform in city

A five-member Russian troupe will peform shows here between April 27 and May 13 bringing the latest 3D mapping stunts live for the people, an of an Indo-Russian body said today.

The troupe is led by Alex Black, a Russian noted for his range of "arsenal," Indo-Russian Cultural and Friendship Society, Secretary General, P Thangappan said.

They are here at the invitation of the Indo-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, he told and added "this is the first time a Russian troupe is visiting south since 1991."

The attractions of the show, which will be held at the here include "3D mapping (a projection technology), big illusions, acrobatics, gymnastics and micromagics," he said.

Russians are noted for professional and circus and are taught as regular courses in universities, the said.
