The coldest place in South Africa is expected to be Sutherland in the Northern Cape, dropping to a below-freezing -2°C.
Maximum temperatures are expected to be cool across the West Coast and the Western Cape, the southern parts of the Northern Cape, the northeastern parts of the Eastern Cape, the southern and eastern parts of the Free State, and the southern parts of KwaZulu-Natal (KZN).
Warmer conditions are expected long the coastline, the northern parts of the Northern Cape, the northwestern parts of the Free State, the North West, Gauteng, the central and southern parts of Mpumalanga, the central and northern parts of KZN, and the southwestern parts of Limpopo.
High temperatures are expected along the northern border, including the northeastern parts of Mpumalanga.
The hottest place in South Africa will be Phalaborwa in Limpopo, reaching a high of 34°C.
Pretoria is expected to experience a maximum of 28°C, while Johannesburg is expected to have a high of 27°C. A high of 25°C is predicted for Bloemfontein.
Along the coastal regions, Cape Town is expected to reach 19°C, Port Elizabeth 24°C and Durban 24°C.
