MINISTER DIRECTS TO CONSTITUTE COMMITTEE

Haryana Forests Minister, Rao Narbir Singh on Wednesday directed the officers concerned to constitute a committee for considering the genuine demands of forest workers.

This committee will resolve their demands in a time bound manner, said Rao Narbir while presiding over a meeting with a delegation of Haryana Forests Workers Mazdoor Sangarsh Samiti, who called on him here.

It was informed in the meeting that forest workers in Haryana are being given uniform allowance equal to the Police Department. On a demand concerning exemption of toll tax, the Minister said that toll tax is a matter of national highway, yet reimbursement facility could be provided to forest employees on providing the receipt of toll tax paid for their vehicles during duty.
