Dr. Ronny Jackson has withdrawn as nominee for secretary of Veterans Affairs, he said in a statement. Jackson, the White House physician, called allegations against him "completely false and fabricated." A report released Wednesday by Democrats on a Senate committee alleged Jackson had wrecked a government vehicle after getting drunk at a Secret Service going-away party, among other allegations.
