Carole Elizabeth Turner Terrell, 75, of Madison Heights, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018. She was the wife of the late Sidney Earl Terrell. Carole was born on July 20, 1942, in Moultrie, Ga., to the late William Bryant Turner and the late Doris Lee Foster Turner. She is survived by three children, Elizabeth Terrell Huffman and her partner, John Earl Foster, George Richard "Ricky" Terrell, and Terrie Terrell Phippins and her husband, Buck; three granddaughters, Angel Rivera and her husband, D.J., Briana Huffman, and Brooke Shepard; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Billy Wayne Turner; four sisters, Diane Scott, Janice Yoder, Bonnie Anderson, and Judy Ann Mays; three special friends, Gerald and Wanda Cunningham, and Lisa Staton; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, George Turner; and a special friend and companion, William "Willie" Watts. A celebration of Carole's life will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018, 2 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home, Madison Heights, with Pastor Donald Stine officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Briarwood Memorial Gardens in Amherst.
