Calcutta HC refuses order on petition seeking nomination through e-mail in Bengal panchayat polls |
The Calcutta High Court today refused to pass any order on a petition seeking direction to the State Election Commission to accept nominations for panchayat polls in West Bengal sent to it through e-mail.
Observing that no special circumstance has been warranted to issue any such direction, Justice Subrata Talukdar disposed of the petition filed by the CPI(M).
