PhD programmes

The Indian Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR) University, Jaipur, is inviting applications for admission in its two-year MBA in Rural Management programme.

The programme has a total intake of 30 students. The course is positioned to cater to needs of a rapidly transforming India where developmental challenges are not limited to rural areas; indeed, the rural-urban continuum has made it virtually impossible to speak of rural or urban spaces in isolation.

It aims to develop a cadre of trained professional managers who are capable of managing rural development organisations and programmes, both in the public and the private sectors. The course will allow the students to specialise in domains such as financial inclusion, rural health, and livelihood enhancement, all of which are areas of high demand.

Eligibility criteria: Any recognised Bachelor’s degree of minimum three-year duration with at least 50 per cent marks in aggregate. Candidates appearing in the final year examination of the bachelor’s degree programme or awaiting results of their final year examination in 2018 may also apply. Working professionals with relevant work experience are encouraged to apply.

Candidates who don’t have MAT/ CAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/  XAT/ GMAT scores but wish to apply for MBA Rural Management, IIHMR University will conduct IIHMR-U MAT.

Selection process: Students will be selected on the basis of their performance in their entrance test—  IIHMR-U MAT, or their recent score in MAT/ CAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ XAT/ GMAT / IIHMR-U MAT or any other national level management aptitude test, group discussion and interview.

Important dates: The last date for submission of the application form is June 23, 2018. IIHMR-U MAT will be held on  April 27, May 25, and June 29, 2018. Group discussion and personal interview for qualified candidates will be conducted on the same day. Candidates aspiring for the admission may apply online or download the application form from www.iihmr.edu.in.

EPGP IN Management

The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) invites application for admission in its second batch of Electronic Mode Post Graduate Diploma in Management (ePGP) programme.

Delivered over the Hughes Interactive Onsite Learning platform combined with on-campus modules by IIMA faculty, the course is especially designed to impart management education to junior, middle, and senior level working professionals and entrepreneurs, seeking skills and strategies to take their organisations and careers to the next level.

ePGP is a two-year e-Mode Post Graduate Diploma Programme with an added flexibility of completion in three years.

Important Dates: The campus module of the ePGP 2018-20 batch is scheduled to begin on September 24, 2018.

Eligibility criteria: Working professionals and entrepreneurs having a minimum full-time work experience of three years after completion of graduation can apply. They must hold a Bachelor’s degree/ CA/ ICWA, with minimum 50 per cent marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA from a recognised Universities or equivalents.

Selection process: The candidates will be selected from a vast pool of applicants through rigorous selection criteria including written test and interview.

For the current batch of ePGP starting from September 2018, IIMA will also be considering valid CAT/ GMAT scores.
