In the light of a complaint lodged by Major Uday Nath Tiwari that one Revenue employee, Rajendra Prasad Yadav, has amassed assets disproportionate to his income, Garhwa DC Dr Neha Arora has appointed Garhwa SDO Pradeep Kumar as investigating officer. The SDO has started preliminary investigation in the connection.

Tiwari has alleged that Yadav has purchased 1.24 acres of land in Farathiya village near Vananchal Dental College, Garhwa, market value of which is between Rs 20 to 25 lakh rupees, this amount is more than the income of Yadav, who is currently posted at Bhoraria Circle in halka no.2.

According to the application Yadav was posted at Garhwa circle in halka no.2 from the year 2015 to the year 2017. During this period, Yadav purchased 1.24 acres land in the name of his wife Manju Devi. Yadav said that the purchase of these two plots does not make the case of property more than income. He has purchased this property from the income earned from his salary and said that the charges against him are wrong, he added.
