SILVER SPRING, Md.--()--The Population Association of America (PAA), the leading non-profit scientific population association dedicated to the study of research on the individual, societal, and environmental implications of human population change, will feature new demographic research findings at its Annual Meeting in Denver, Colorado on April 26-28, 2018. Globally recognized demography experts will showcase findings around the 2020 Census, fertility, mortality and other pressing societal issues.
“We are happy to welcome demographers, scientists and leaders from around the world to share their research and high-quality population data that has the potential to impact our nation for years to come,” said Wendy Manning, Ph.D., President, Population Association of America. “Data such as this are vital tools for public planning, determining legislative seats and establishing how to distribute precious resources. It is an exciting time in history to release this data and we are looking forward to sharing groundbreaking knowledge.”
Over the three-day meeting, there are approximately 250 sessions where all 2,200 research-papers will be delivered through oral presentations and 100 research posters will be displayed on the show floor. Session topics include:
