All donations towards the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and the National Defence Fund(NDF) are notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act,1961

Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh has said the government will be successful in doubling farmers’ income by the stipulated time frame of 2022.

Addressing a National Kharif Conference 2018 in New Delhi today, Mr Singh said, the government's aim is to make agriculture policy and programmes income-oriented rather than production-oriented.

He said, to achieve the goal of doubling farmers’ income, the Agriculture Ministry has been continuously working to reduce the cost of farming, increase production through better productivity, ensure profitable returns and risk management given the uncertainty of weather. He said, today India is not only self-dependent but also an exporter of many agricultural products.
