• Clippers: Triple-A Columbus starter Stephen Fife dropped to 0-3 in the Clippers’ 8-5 loss to Scranton-Wilkes-Barre. Fife gave up seven runs on nine hits. Center fielder Greg Allen was 3-for-4 with two doubles and two runs for Columbus (8-10).

• RubberDucks: Double-A Akron (9-10) made three errors that led to four unearned runs in a 9-7 loss at Reading. RubberDucks shortstop Willi Castro was 2-for-4 with a two-run home run.

• Hillcats: In the first game of a doubleheader, Li-Jen Chu doubled in Conner Capel with the game-winning run for a 4-3 walk-off victory over Winston-Salem in advanced Single-A. In the second game, the Dash retaliated with a 9-3 triumph over Lynchburg (11-8).

• Captains: In the first game of a doubleheader, Francisco Perez and James Karinchak combined on a no-hitter in a 4-0 victory over West Michigan in Single-A. Perez pitched 6 1/3 innings, and Karinchak finished off the final two outs of the seven-inning game. Indians 2016 first-round pick Will Benson hit two solo home runs. Lake County (10-8) also won the nightcap, 6-3.
