Ujjain: Congress holds BJP responsible for depriving mill workers of their dues

Ujjain: Congress committee district head of unorganised labourers, Deepak Mehre charged that due to anti labour policies of the state government, workers of Binod and Bimal Mills have been deprived of their due payment of Rs 67 crores.

He said that after the high court verdict, the state BJP government took the matter to the apex court and obstructed the release of payment. District head Bharat Porwal alleged that the state government had no intention to release the dues to workers.

Both Porwal and Mehre asked the state government to revoke the appeal filed with the apex court in the interest of workers.  Mehre informed that workers of Binod and Bimal mills would be felicitated on World Labour Day.
