Britons value photographs as the MOST TREASURED possession in their houses
WHAT would you save if your house was burning down? Your laptop, mobile or jewellery?
GETTY
Britons are a sentimental bunch as most would save the family photo album.
Laptops and tablets are the second most popular item to save, followed by wedding and engagement rings, according to research from insurer Admiral.
It warned that many policyholders are potentially underinsured, with two thirds failing to calculate the precise value of their home contents when taking out their policy.
Admiral head of home insurance Noel Summerfield said: “In the event of theft or disaster, being underinsured could make a tough situation even worse.”
