CPI party Congress to decide on political strategy for 2019

The 23rd party Congress, beginning here tomorrow, will finalise the Left party's political strategy to take on the BJP-led NDA in the election next year.

Coming days after the CPI(M) decided to have an "understanding" with the in a bid to fight the communal forces in the country, the meet would discuss a draft political resolution that called for a broad platform of "secular, democratic and Left forces to fight the Sangh parivar affiliates", a source in the party said.

Though the draft did not mention any particular political party, the was not averse to including the in the fight against the BJP, another source said.
