NITI Aayog also questioning State’s dev record: Baghel

Citing statement of Chief Executive Officer of NITI Aayog, Amitabh Kant that country is lagging in development parameters because of backward States like Chhattisgarh, State Congress President Bhupesh Baghel said that it is not only him alone who is asking the address of ‘bird of development’ (Vikas Ki Chidia) in Chhattisgarh, but the NITI Aayog is also questioning why development was not ensured in these years”.

Baghel, citing the Statement of Kant said the states which are responsible for backwardness also includes Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Bihar.

The first three states are ruled by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) while in the fourth the government had been formed with its support, he remarked.
