710 litres of kerosene, 20 litres of lubricant seized

Bokaro Thermal police have seized 710 litres of kerosene, 20 litres of lubricant oil alongwith white powder which were being ferried from power plants and CCL project of Bokaro Thermal and its surrounding areas.

The incident took place at Nisanhut of Bokaro Thermal police jurisdiction on the intervening night of Mondayand Tuesday ,said Inspector cum Officer in- charge Prameshwar Leyangi.

According to police, the local resident of Nisanhut in collusion with oil mafia active in Bermo was pilfering oil from local vehicles, power plant and CCL project which were en route for other districts.

Speaking to the pioneer, Bokaro SP ,Kartik S, said an input was shared by locals about a godown, where oil mafia Arjun Barnawal was string oil after stealing from others illegal  sources.

We could not arrested the local king pin Arjun Barnawal who managed to flee away.

But he will soon reach under police net, said SP

Police have registered an FIR against the accused under the suitable IPC ,Police sources claimed ,Arjun used to steal oil from vehicles ,power plant and CCL project and paid a hefty amount to divers and oil mafia . He was mixing kerosene and white power in the in the diesel to compensate the stolen fuel .
