Malaysian police on Wednesday released a photo of one of the suspects in the killing of a Palestinian military engineer in Kuala Lumpur. The case has drawn attention to the possible involvement of Israel's intelligence agency, Mossad.
Fadi al-Batsh was gunned down on Saturday morning by 2 men on a motorcycle as he walked to a mosque for dawn prayers.
Police say they believe the 2 men are still in Malaysia.
Israeli media reports say Mossad may have killed Batsh over his work on drones for Hamas. The Palestinian Islamist group effectively controls the Gaza Strip.
Reports also say Batsh was an electrical engineering lecturer at a Malaysian university.
